ROOMS BOARD & HOUSEKEEPING

The whole house on one board, updating as it happens

Live room status, cleaning queues, inspections and minibar restocks — with housekeeping and the front desk finally looking at the same screen.

SEE IT IN ACTION

Room status and cleaning status are separate answers, so a room is never ambiguously "dirty or occupied".

OVERVIEW AND BENEFITS

Status the desk can trust

A room carries a lifecycle status and a cleaning status independently, because an occupied room is also either clean or waiting. Housekeeping drives one, the desk drives the other, and neither overwrites the other.

Cleaning queues that self-populate

Checkouts raise housekeeping tasks automatically, so the board fills itself as guests depart.

Checklists that record what was done

Per-task checklists capture the stages a room went through, with the ability to override and say why.

Out of order without losing the room

Withdraw a room from sale for a refit and it leaves the sellable pool and the occupancy denominator for exactly the dates it covers.

WHY IT MATTERS

A clean room nobody knows is clean earns nothing

The gap between housekeeping finishing and the desk finding out is measured in guests waiting in reception. It closes when both work from the same record.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Everything the floor needs, on a tablet

Rooms, floors, tasks, checklists and minibar stock — with a station view built for someone standing in a corridor.

Live rooms board
Vacant, occupied, reserved, cleaning, maintenance and out-of-order at a glance, grouped by floor.
Housekeeping tasks
Checkout, turndown, deep clean and maintenance tasks with assignee, priority and overdue alerts.
Checklists
Stage-by-stage templates per task type so an inspection means the same thing every time.
Housekeeping station
A single-room work screen with the checklist, the minibar restock list and the task actions on it.
Minibar
Record consumption to the folio, track par levels per room or room type, and restock toward the target.
Lost & found
Log what was found in which room, and match it back to the guest who left it.

Complimentary items, allocated not guessed

Some minibar stock is free to the guest. Vestibel still ledgers the consumption and moves the stock — it just never posts a charge.

Allocation by room type:set the target every room of a type should carry, and let individual rooms fall back to it.
Restock toward the target:the station shows what is missing against the par level, not just what is there.
Free means free:complimentary consumption never reaches the guest bill and never enters the tax base.

FAQ

FAQ

Out of order withdraws the room from sellable inventory and from the occupancy denominator for the dates it covers. Out of service is a minor fault flag — the room stays sellable and may still receive a guest.
No, and deliberately. Raising a work order records the fault and its cost; withdrawing a room from sale is a separate, explicit decision so any staff member cannot remove revenue-earning inventory by reporting a dripping tap.
The housekeeping station is a touch-first screen designed for a shared tablet or phone in the corridor, showing one room at a time with its checklist and restock list.
Consumption posts a folio charge against the room in real time. Items flagged complimentary still record consumption and stock movement but post no charge at all.
